“The Gentlemen” are a set of 60 original drawings printed and sold as vinyl stickers. Each sticker is approximately 3” x 3” and was sold singularly and in sets of 6 and 3. They were originally sold at the Emily Carr Student Art Sale in 2018, and again at the sale in 2019.
Originally, this project was visual material for a different endeavour, but it evolved into an exploration of continuous line drawings. Before this project this style was something that I didn’t think I was capable of.
During the illustration process, I did a fast paced drawing sprint, spending less that 60 seconds on each face, and letting the illustrations evolve naturally.

I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the exercise, and they remain one of my most versatile projects; the illustrations can be sold as stickers, used as visual intrigue in other projects, or reimagined as a tattoo design.
